JC Bose University of Science And Technology (YMCA UST), located in Faridabad, Haryana is a state university. Accredited ‘A’ grade by NAAC, the University was established in 1969. Five technical Programs of YMCA UST viz. B.Tech. (CE, ME, EIC, EL) and MCA are accredited by NBA. various degree programs are offered for admissions at the university. Admissions are both entrance and merit-based followed by counselling. Applications for admissions are available online. While entrance applications are available on their respective websites. Students willing to apply for B.Tech the students must have passed 10+2 with PCM from Haryana board or equivalent. They must also qualify for JEE Mains followed by HSTES Counselling. Admission to B.Sc., B.A, BBA, BCA and MA.are based on merit. No entrance is required, but to be eligible students must have passed 10+2 with the compulsory subjects or have a bachelor’s degree. For admissions to M.Tech students must qualify the GATE exam and have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Technology with 50% aggregate. M.Sc. admissions are offered on the basis of scores in the University Entrance Test conducted by the University itself. Based on which a merit list is prepared to offer students admission in their respective choice of subject.. To be eligible for MBA and MCA admission, students must appear for the University Entrance exam. Qualifying which, the candidate would be called for a group discussion followed by a personal interview. Ph.D. admissions depend upon either qualifying UGC-NET/JRF/SLET entrance for direct admission. Or appearing for University Entrance (PET) shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in the previous examination.
