Lovely Professional University commonly known as LPU. LPU was founded as Lovely Professional University in 2005. Founder and Chancellor of LPU is Mr. Ashok Mittal. The name Lovely came from Lovely Sweets. Lovely Sweets is the business started by the chancellor of LPU Mr. Ashok Mittal. LPU is situated in Jalandhar, Punjab, India.

• BPT, M.Ed., D. Pharm  - 2005

• LPU started a startup school, which provide students a platform to develop and nurture their ideas in 2016.

• LPU offers around 50 Degrees in different Streams like Engineering, Medical, Arts, Fine Arts, Law, Sciences and Design. LPU gained accreditation from UGC, UGC-DEB, AIU, NCTE, COA, PCI, BCI and ITPI. LPU also have international memberships of different International Regulatory Authorities such as IAU (France), ACU (UK), IIE (New York, USA), ACBSP (USA) and AUAP (Thailand).

  LPU has a sprawling campus of over 600 acres and houses 10,000 students. LPU is ranked 38th in the management and ranked 26th in the Pharmacy ranking issued by NIRF (MHRD, Govt. of India) in 2018.

  LPU has all the modern facilities such as Auditorium, open air theatre, sports (cricket field, football field, boxing ring, taekwondo, snooker, skating, bowling alley etc.), Gym, Shopping mall, food area, Library, Laboratories and many more.
