Admission Process

KR Mangalam University provides UG, PG, Other category and Alumni Scholarships for the batch 2022-23 The scholarships offered by KR Mangalam University is given to deserving and meritorious students. Students can avail only one scholarship. Following are the details for the same:

UG Scholarship

This scholarship is offered to students who pursue UG courses from the University. This scholarship is applicable only on the first year fees and will be awarded on the basis of overall aggregate marks obtained in the last qualifying examination.

On the basis of marks scored in class XII examination (Part A)

The amount of scholarship will be deducted from the semester fee at the time of registration. 2nd installment will be paid by cheque if the student fulfills all the criteria listed under Note: 4) given below the table.
85% to less than 90%	35%
90% and above	100%	To be paid in 3 installment-1st installment (25%) will be paid upfront. The amount of scholarship will be deducted from the semester fee at the time of registration. 2nd installment (50%) and 3rd installment (25%) will be paid by cheque if the student fulfills all the criteria listed under Note: 4) given below the table.
KRMU Graduates opting to pursue another Undergraduate (UG) program	15%	To be paid in 2 equal installment-1st instalments will be paid upfront. The amount of scholarship will be deducted from the semester fee at the time of registration. 2nd installment will be paid by cheque if the student fulfills all the criteria listed under Note : 4) given below the table.

Other Category Scholarships (Part B)

Defense Scholarship (for children of defense personnel)	15%	To be paid upfront in 1st sem. The amount of scholarship will be deducted from the semester fee at the time of registration
KRM school to KRMU (for students who have passed 12th standard from K.R.Mangalam group of schools) or KRMU student who takes admission in LLB Hons.)/ B.Ed. Program	15%
Siblings (applicable to all siblings excluding the first child admitted at KRMU	15%
Sports Quota (Students awarded State Level). KRMU will gives 40% weightage to the sports certificate and 60% weightage to the sports trials. The sports trial will include Sport Specific Fitness, Overall Playing Ability and Fundamental Skills. Marks for the sports trial will be awarded out of 60 and candidates will have to score at least 30 marks (i.e. 50%) in order to qualify for admission through sports quota. Candidates applying for sports quota must also be eligible on the basis of age to participate in inter-university competitions of KRMU for their course duration.	25%	To be paid in 2 equal installment-1st installments will be paid upfront. The amount of scholarship will be deducted from the semester fee at the time of registration. 2nd installment will be paid by cheque if the student fulfills all the criterion listed under Note: 4) given below the table.
Sports Quota (Students awarded National Level). KRMU will gives 40% weightage to the sports certificate and 60% weightage to the sports trials. The sports trial will include Sport Specific Fitness, Overall Playing Ability and Fundamental Skills. Marks for the sports trial will be awarded out of 60 and candidates will have to score at least 30 marks (i.e. 50%) in order to qualify for admission through sports quota. Candidates applying for sports quota must also be eligible on the basis of age to participate in inter-university competitions of KRMU for their course duration.	50%	To be paid in 2 equal installment-1st installments will be paid upfront. The amount of scholarship will be deducted from the semester fee at the time of registration. 2nd installment will be paid by cheque if the student fulfills all the criteria listed under Note: 4) given below the table.

Note(s):

The above scholarship is applicable only on the first year fee.
This scholarship policy (Part A and Part B) is not applicable for D.Pharm and Professional diploma in Interior Design.
Part A is not applicable for LLB (Hons.) and B.Ed programs. (Only Part B is applicable).
No two scholarships will be combined.
The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of overall aggregate marks obtained in the last qualifying examination.
2nd Instalment and 3rd installment (where applicable) of scholarship amount will be paid by cheque if the student fulfills ALL the criterion [a), b), c)] listed under:-
- Attendance in the immediately preceding semester is 75% or above.
- The student has cleared the examination of ALL the subjects which were on offer in the immediately preceding semester.
- There is no case of indiscipline, unfair means or misconduct.

PG Stipend Scholarship Policy

PG Stipend Policy (on the basis of overall marks scored in Graduation)

Note(s):

Stipend will be paid only to the first-year student whose graduation score falls under any of the 3 categories mentioned above.
Student will be assigned the task by the respective school Head.
Stipend will be paid monthly on completion of the assigned tasks on time and as instructed.

KRMU Alumni Scholarship

KRMU Undergraduate (UG) program students seeking admission in the Postgraduate (PG) program (including MBA) shall be awarded the following:

A 15% scholarship on the first year fee.
Alumni Scholarship will be paid in two equal installments.
The first installment will be adjusted immediately at the time of admission on payment full first-semester fee.
The second installment will be paid in even semester in cheque subject to fulfillment of below-mentioned conditions:
- Attendance in Semester I is 75% or above.
- The student has cleared the examination of all the subjects which were on offer in Semester I.
- There is no case of indiscipline, unfair means or misconduct.
No two scholarships can be combined or offered to students
PG Stipend will be awarded on the basis of an overall aggregate marks obtained in the last qualifying examination.
This policy is not applicable for M. Pharma and LLM courses
This policy is applicable only on 1st year fee of Post Graduate student.
